We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks, including installation and fabrication, with a focus on quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. This position requires the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and to follow project specifications accurately.
Duties
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
Perform siding installation and ensure proper alignment and finishing.
Lay tile with precision, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal.
Operate power tools safely and effectively for various carpentry tasks.
Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine project specifications.
Engage in heavy lifting as necessary for transporting materials and completing installations.
Fabricate custom woodwork according to design plans or client requests.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on projects involving electrical or masonry work when required.
Experience
Proven experience as a Carpenter with a robust portfolio of completed projects.
Familiarity with various carpentry techniques including siding installation, tile laying, and masonry.
Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to carpentry tasks.
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings effectively.
Experience in performing heavy lifting safely in compliance with safety regulations.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
