We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cook specializing in Indian cuisine to join our vibrant culinary team. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes, including curries, breads, rice, and vegetarian options, following established recipes and presentation standards
Ensure all food is handled safely, stored properly, and prepared in accordance with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and workstations
Assist in meal preparation during busy service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders
Serve food efficiently and courteously to guests, maintaining a positive dining atmosphere




Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies; communicate needs for restocking or ordering new stock
Follow all health and safety guidelines to uphold a protected working workplace

Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or food service setting, preferably with a focus on Indian cuisine
Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry
Ability to prepare diverse Indian dishes with authentic flavors and presentation skills
Excellent serving skills with a friendly, professional attitude towards guests
Familiarity with kitchen equipment, utensils, and meal preparation techniques specific to Indian cooking
Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is highly desirable
