We are looking for a Care Aide to join our team! The ideal Care Aide will have education and training in medication administration, be easily adaptable, a quick learner, dedicated, reliable, and a problem-solver. Additionally, use of own personal vehicle will be required (use of own car will be compensated).

Duties & Responsibilities:
Visiting patients in the community (in their homes)
Medications management (orally, creams, patches) within the Care Aide scope of practice
Following pre-set company protocols when assisting patients with their medications
Contacting the pharmacy for further directions in situations that require it
Documentation of all findings, interventions, and outcomes
Submitting daily reports to Pharmacist on duty

Qualifications:




Must be BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registered and/or have experience or education in the medical/care aide field
Must have Medical Administration Certification
Driver's License
Access to reliable personal vehicle
Be reliable and accountable
A friendly and caring attitude that uses a patient focused approach
Robust critical thinking, communication, and time management skills
Solid work ethic and customer service skills
Criminal Record Check will be requested upon successful offer

Job Type: Casual Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Experience
Care Aide: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
Driver's License (preferred)
