As a new pharmacy, we're building our team and culture from the ground up. We're looking for a compassionate pharmacist who genuinely cares about patients, is willing to take accountability and ownership of their work, and wants to make a real impact in the community. There is plenty of scope to grow and learn as the pharmacy grows.
Duties
Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently, with attention to safety checks and drug interactions
Provide patient counseling on recent and renewed medications
Perform pharmacist prescribing services (initiation, renewal, emergency supply, minor ailments) within scope of practice
Administer injections/immunizations as required Supervise and support pharmacy assistants and technicians
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards
Collaborate with local physicians and other healthcare providers on patient care
Experience
Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP)
Excellent communication skills and strong customer service to patients — required
Additional prescribing authorization an asset
Experience with pharmacy software (e.g. Kroll) an asset
Flexibility to work part time shifts, including some weekends, as scheduled

Pay: $60.00-$65.00 per hour
