Summary:

Working with the Shop Foreman, the Lube Technician is responsible for minor repairs and servicing of equipment in the field.

Job Duties Responsibilities:
Perform preventable maintenance and minor repairs on various construction equipment
Utilize hand and power tools safely to complete tasks efficiently.
Facilitate safety inspections
Assess equipment to see if it needs to be sent elsewhere for repairs
Report faults and malfunctions on all company equipment
Coordinate with Shop Foreman to determine priorities for equipment repair
Maintain a clean and safe environment
Comply with all policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
1 year of experience as a mechanic is required




Must have a valid driver’s license, Class 1 or 3 is considered an asset
Willing and able to work out-of-town/province for service calls
Physically capable of performing the duties of the position; standing, sitting, lifting, etc. for long periods of time
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Robust teamwork and communication skills
Safety-first attitude
Provide: must have own tools, hard hat, high visibility vest, CSA approved steel-toed safety boots/shoes
