As an Account Manager, you will own a roster of client accounts, acting as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor. You will build solid relationships, understand each client's needs, and develop strategies to grow the business within your portfolio. This is a relationship-driven, results-oriented role for someone who thrives on client interaction and hitting growth targets.
What You'll Do
Build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts at client accounts
Host regular business review meetings, sharing feedback on performance and discussing goals and challenges
Forecast annual budgets for your account roster and develop strategies to meet them
Track and manage your pipeline for new opportunities in the CRM
Onboard new customers and drive adoption of our e-commerce platform
Act as the point of contact for client concerns, escalating issues where needed
Support the sales team with up-selling and cross-selling prospects
Prepare quotes, lead price increase and contract renewal conversations
Collaborate with sales, logistics, and senior management to meet client needs
Bring in vendors and product specialists to support client requirements
Study the competitive landscape and identify recent ways to retain and grow accounts
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in an inside sales or account management role, ideally within an industrial, B2B, or specialty products environment
Strong relationship-building skills with a track record of growing client accounts
Comfortable owning a budget, forecasting, and working toward gross-margin growth targets
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing a varied schedule and client meetings in person and remotely
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits
