Duties
Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients to meet recipe specifications
Support cooking processes by organizing ingredients and ensuring all items are ready for the chefs
Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout all kitchen activities
Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination
Ensure timely serving of dishes by preparing ingredients in advance and coordinating with the kitchen team
Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies for efficient meal preparation
Follow all health and safety regulations to uphold a safe working workplace for everyone
Experience
Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is a plus
Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry
Experience working in a busy kitchen environment demonstrates ability to multitask effectively
