Drive continuous improvement as a CI Engineer in the Greater Toronto Area, focusing on process enhancements and operational excellence in manufacturing environments. Collaborate with various teams to optimize productivity and quality.
In this role, report to the CI Manager and take charge of leading continuous improvement projects. You'll evaluate production processes, support equipment utilization, and perform standardized work studies while implementing error-proofing methodologies like PFMEA and SQDCI across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement continuous improvement strategies throughout production
• Analyze process flows to detect and eliminate inefficiencies
• Support production and equipment utilization efforts
• Maintain reporting and record-keeping of KPIs and metrics
• Assess plant layouts for safety and ergonomic improvements
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years in Process or Continuous Improvement Engineering
• Familiarity with process automation and production systems
• Experience with improvement methodologies like KATA
• Solid communication and problem-solving abilities
