Overview
City Centre Animal Hospital is an urgent care facility in Airdrie staffed by 5 RVTs and 7 DVMs. NVA Canada’s Vet Technicians Practicum Program offers final‑year veterinary technician students an opportunity to gain real‑world experience in a supportive, dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

Assist in patient care and clinical management under the supervision of veterinarians and experienced RVTs.

Carry out laboratory procedures, anesthesia support, surgical assistance, and radiology imaging.

Develop communication skills with veterinary teams and clients.

Qualifications

Enrolled in an accredited veterinary technician program in Canada and completing the final practicum in the final year.

Commitment to a practicum of 2–8 weeks.
