This full-time position involves collaborating closely with the Director of Care while implementing nursing quality improvement and risk management systems. You will be responsible for the High Intensity Needs program, conducting staff mentorship, and promoting ethical practice in care delivery. Your role will also include participation in advanced care planning and quality assessment processes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in nursing department quality initiatives and evaluations
• Take charge of risk management related to resident care




• Mentor personal care staff and oversee care assessments
• Manage the nursing department in the absence of the DOC
• Spearhead staff development initiatives collaboratively

Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with College of Nurses of Ontario accreditation
• Minimum three years in long-term care; management experience is a plus
• Current knowledge of clinical and infection control issues
• Familiarity with RAI MDS is a must
