Purpose of the role
Reporting to the Manager of Material Management and Planning, the person in this position ensures the supply of components within required timelines, while optimizing inventory levels and guaranteeing parts availability for internal and customer needs.
Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of components through to obsolescence.
Plan requirements and define sourcing and storage strategies.
Carry out replenishment (MRP, Kanban) and ensure follow‑up.
Manage inventories and support warehouse operations.
Create, maintain, and optimize master data in the manufacturing system (MRP).
Contribute to digitalization initiatives (Power BI, WMS, etc.).
Participate in continuous improvement and cost‑optimization projects.
Perform any other related tasks connected to site activities.
Qualifications
College diploma (DEC) or bachelor’s degree in procurement, operations management, administration, or equivalent experience.
Minimum one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong communication skills, initiative, leadership, and collaboration.
Functional English and French.
Knowledge of SAP (an asset).
