Job Overview Union Power Insurance Brokers and FirstOntario Insurance Brokers are seeking a focused, entrepreneurial Commercial Insurance Producer / Commercial Account Executive to expand our commercial client base within union and construction sectors.
Responsibilities Develop and execute a proactive, independent sales strategy to generate new commercial business.
Build and maintain strong relationships with union organizations, contractors, and business owners.
Identify client needs and design tailored insurance solutions across various commercial lines (property, liability, construction, etc.).
Collaborate with internal service teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing client support.
Maintain a robust pipeline and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
Represent the brokerage at networking events, industry functions, and union engagements.
Qualifications Active insurance license.
Proven experience in commercial insurance sales or a strong background in B2B sales.
Solid understanding of commercial insurance products (property, liability, construction, etc.).
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.




Self‑motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Experience working with unions or construction‑related industries is a strong asset.
All‑star candidates will also have: Experience using Policy Works; Bilingualism (French/English).
