We are looking for a Business System Analyst to join our talented Product team in the Wealth Technology group at CI Wealth.
What You Will Do Requirements Gathering & Documentation – Collaborate with project managers, developers, and technical teams to identify, document, and manage business requirements and specifications. Ensure they are complete, correct, consistent, concise, and achievable, secure sign‑off from business owners, and document new requirements as user stories in JIRA.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication – Establish strong partnerships with business users, set expectations, communicate complex concepts to non‑technical audiences, organize and facilitate meetings, and act as a liaison between business and IT teams.
Testing & Quality Assurance Support – Support testing phases by developing and executing test plans and test cases, verify test output, report critical issues, coordinate resolutions, and ensure thorough documentation of test results during transition to operational support.
What You Will Bring Extensive understanding of financial products, business processes, procedures, and best practices.
Strong experience in business system analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation.
Proven ability to recommend and implement business process improvements.
Hands‑on experience with JIRA for backlog management and agile project execution.
Deep knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working within cross‑functional agile teams.
Expertise in User Acceptance Testing (UAT),
including developing and executing test plans to validate functionality against documented requirements.
Solid focus on quality assurance to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
Proven ability to lead meetings, facilitate discussions, and communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, analytical and problem‑solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to deliver high‑quality work under pressure.
Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Experience with information systems and exposure to project management processes.
Solid business skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technology and business needs.
Compensation & Benefits The anticipated base salary range for this position is $55,000 – $95,000, depending on experience, skills, education, and budget.
Eligible for participation in a bonus program.
