Responsibilities

Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.

Complete and follow requirements of Field Level Hazard and Job Hazard assessments.

Perform thorough inspections of equipment and identify required repairs.

Work independently on customer sites often.





Perform routine and specific maintenance on company vehicles and equipment (Dozers, Excavators and Rock Trucks).

Inspect and diagnose components and equipment for servicing needs.

Complete repair orders.

Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment and light and heavy-duty vehicles.

Communicate equipment servicing needs as required with Supervisor.

Complete warranty information.

Disassemble, inspect, fit and replace worn or broken parts.

Carry out housekeeping duties.

Complete required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.

Qualifications

Licensed/Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician - Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic (Off Road).

3+ years’ experience working as a Offroad Technician/Mechanic with Dozers, Excavators and Rock Trucks.

Previous experience working with Hydraulics is an asset.

Previous experience working on Vacuum Trucks is an asset.

Ability to use diagnostic software

Driver’s License required.
