Summary Reporting into the Equipment/Shop Manager, the 310T Mechanic will help the shop by maintaining and repairing equipment in the company’s maintenance and repair shop.
Responsibilities Complete Annual Safety Inspections for GIP’s over the road fleet.
Troubleshoot, adjust, overhaul and maintain mobile heavy‑duty construction equipment (e.g., bull dozers, loaders, graders, asphalt rollers, asphalt/concrete paving machines, excavators, heavy trucks, etc.) within the shop.
Work on equipment, trucks and small engines as required.
Conduct Safety certification inspections.
Qualifications Experience with CAT equipment and Kenworth trucks will be an asset.
310T Truck and Coach Technician Certification .
Ability to be enrolled into the DriveOn portal.
Heavy equipment experience preferred but not required.
A valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
Understanding of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic systems and components.
Comfortable using a computer, the internet, and other electronic resources.
Mechanical and mathematic aptitude.
Physical fitness.
Must have own tools.
Shift/Working Conditions 10‑hour shifts. Work may involve weekends and overtime as required.




Benefits Expected Base Wage: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour. The actual base salary will depend on several factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity, work location and market expectations.
