Responsibilities Build and maintain expert knowledge of Beneva’s individual insurance and investment products.
Plan, organize, and implement a territory‑specific sales strategy to acquire and nurture advisor relationships.
Develop a deep understanding of key advisors in the territory and provide support and advice to grow their businesses.
Collaborate with advisors on case consultations, including case development, competitive review, and client presentation.
Update and report current relationships and business‑building activity through the established CRM and sales management process.
Develop and deliver one‑on‑one or group presentations to build brand awareness and drive sales in the assigned territory.
Promote Beneva’s image and product quality at one‑on‑one, group, and industry presentations and events.
Act as the Beneva representative in the territory and work closely with MGA offices to acquire current advisor opportunities.
Collaborate with Inside Sales Representatives and other Regional representatives to coordinate the acquisition of new advisor relationships.
Be vigilant for unusual or non‑compliant activity and report to Beneva management and compliance as required.
Attend meetings and training sessions organized by the Company and provide constructive feedback on products, services, and marketing materials.
Participate in training and integration of new representatives or department employees when required.
Maintain professional credentials and licenses, staying current on industry changes.
Requirements Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in financial product sales to independent advisors.
Holder of an Advisor License or an Insurers Representative license in good standing (Saskatchewan only).
Strong knowledge of Life Insurance products and positive knowledge of investment products.
Ability to work from home/road in a virtual office environment; willing to travel up to 50% within the territory.
License in Life Insurance and/or registration to sell Mutual Funds, or a plan to obtain the required credentials.
Aptitude for consultative sales, business development, and relationship management.
Excellent verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.
Bilingual fluency in French and English is an asset.
CFP, CLU, CHFC, CFA designations are an asset.
