Job Overview Work Location: Québec, Quebec, Canada
Hours: 37.5 per week
Line of Business: TD Wealth
Pay: $50,000 – $100,000 CAD base salary, eligible for commission‑based earnings.
Job Description TD Wealth Private Wealth Management (PWM) delivers comprehensive wealth advice to high‑net‑worth clients. The Developing Investment Advisor Program is a specialized training initiative that equips participants with technical, financial, and interpersonal expertise to grow a successful client portfolio.
Accountabilities (Responsibilities) Build a client base of HNW & UHNW clients, families, and business owners.
Develop comprehensive wealth management and investment strategies based on client needs.
Recommend portfolio construction, security selection, monitoring, and rebalancing.
Action a business plan focused on building client base and market share through prospecting, marketing, and pipeline development.
Develop and implement sales strategies to attract, acquire, and retain customers and referrals for profitability and growth.
Implement a OneTD approach by establishing relationships with TD Partners to provide goal‑based wealth advice across product and service solutions.
Protect the organization’s interests by identifying and managing risks effectively.
Qualifications Undergraduate degree in finance, business, economics,
or a related discipline.
Registered Representative with CIRO.
Professional designations such as CFP, CIM, or CFA are considered assets.
3+ years of client‑facing, sales or relationship‑focused experience, ideally in a mutual fund or brokerage setting.
Deep knowledge of investment markets and portfolio management.
Curiosity and thought‑leader mindset to stay current with industry trends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven entrepreneurial experience and ability to prospect and manage client relationships.
Comfort with compliance requirements and commitment to ethical client service.
Life Insurance License (LLQP) obtained within 6 months of hire.
Training & Onboarding Participants receive enhanced coaching, in‑branch systems training, product & service orientation, strategic business development instruction, and dedicated practice management support.
