Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy‑duty trucks, trailers, and related equipment in accordance with manufacturer and company standards.
Utilize diagnostic software and manufacturer systems to identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
Diagnose faults, interpret trouble codes, and inspect engines and components for wear, damage, and defects.
Repair, rebuild, and replace truck and trailer components using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
Complete preventative maintenance inspections and routine servicing to ensure equipment reliability and safety compliance.
Inspect and test repaired equipment to confirm proper performance and quality of work.
Maintain accurate repair records and complete work orders in a timely manner.
Follow all workplace safety policies, procedures,



and regulatory standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Work collaboratively with team members and shop personnel to support productive operations and minimize equipment downtime.
Qualifications Red Seal Journeyperson Certification or Level 4 Apprentice Truck & Transport Technician required.
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong technical knowledge of heavy‑duty truck systems, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair procedures.
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Proven problem‑solving abilities with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Physically capable of performing the duties associated with the position.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
