Our work is built on safety, efficiency, and doing things right the first time. We are growing and looking to add a skilled Shop Mechanic to support our fleet and keep our operations moving.

Position Overview

This is a hands-on role for an experienced mechanic capable of independently diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of cars and trucks. You will play a critical role in minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment reliability across active job sites.

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair cars, trucks and assist with heavy equipment,
Perform preventative maintenance including oil changes, hydraulic servicing, filters, brakes, and electrical systems
Inspect equipment and identify issues before they lead to failures or delays
Repair and maintain diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and air brake systems
Complete service records, work orders, and parts tracking accurately
Coordinate parts and inventory requirements to support repairs
Perform field service work as required on active job sites
Maintain a clean, protected, and organized work environment in line with company safety standards





Qualifications, Experience & Technical Skills
3+ years experience as a Shop Mechanic
Solid working knowledge of engines, motors, brakes
Experience with excavators, loaders, dump trucks, and light-duty fleet vehicles considered an asset
Ability to diagnose issues independently and complete repairs efficiently

Education & Certifications
Relevant technical training or apprenticeship experience will be considered

Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work
Comfortable working in shop and outdoors in varying weather conditions as necessary
Capable of working in tight spaces and on active construction sites as necessary

Work Environment
Combination of shop and field-based work
Monday–Friday schedule, with occasional extended hours based on project demands
