Duties
Safely operate commercial trucks over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Transport freight efficiently from origin to destination, ensuring timely deliveries.
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and load securement.
Load and unload freight using equipment such as forklifts or other heavy machinery when necessary.
Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage logs, and vehicle maintenance records.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and warehouse staff to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly.




Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep the truck in optimal condition.

Requirements
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for long-haul driving.
Proven experience in commercial driving, especially in long-distance transportation.
Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and other loading machinery safely.
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols for secure load management.
Familiarity with basic automotive repair techniques for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and compliance purposes.
Physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road.
