Denny's – Kitchen Staff

We're hiring kitchen staff for our recent Denny's location. Whether you've got years of line cook experience or you're just starting out in a kitchen, we want to hear from you. Multiple positions available.

What you'll be doing:
Prepping ingredients before and during shifts (chopping, portioning, mixing batters, prepping proteins)
Cooking and plating menu items to Denny's standards — grill, fryer, flat top, or expo depending on position
Reading and following tickets accurately and keeping up during rush periods
Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment; keeping the dish pit organized and moving
Keeping your station clean and stocked throughout the shift
Following food safety and handling procedures (proper storage, labeling, temperatures)
Taking inventory of stock and letting a manager know when supplies are low
Cleaning and closing down the kitchen at the end of shift, including floors, equipment, and walk-ins
Working as a team — helping other stations when things get busy




Following all health and safety regulations

What we're looking for:
Reliable and on time for scheduled shifts
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure
Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 lbs
Team player who communicates well with kitchen and front-of-house staff
Prior kitchen experience is an asset but not required — we'll train the right person
Food Handler Certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain one)
Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
