Duties
Safely operate a DZ-class commercial truck to transport freight to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and other critical systems
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment, ensuring secure handling and proper placement of cargo
Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs for compliance and tracking purposes
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep the truck in optimal condition
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff,



and clients to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues promptly
Follow safety protocols rigorously to prevent accidents or damage during transportation or loading activities

Experience
Valid DZ license with proven experience in commercial driving within a freight or logistics workplace
Hands-on experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment used for loading and unloading cargo
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards for transporting goods
Basic automotive repair skills to diagnose minor mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance
Strong understanding of safety regulations related to heavy vehicle operation and freight transportation
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods in various weather conditions
