Let Me Be Me Learning Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with diverse abilities through education, life-skills development, and behavioural intervention. Our team-based approach creates a supportive and inclusive environment for learners, families, and professionals.

We are currently seeking a compassionate, motivated individual to join our team in a Full time or part-time Classroom Support role.

Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation of classroom activities and individualized programs.
Assist learners with daily living skills, including cooking and meal preparation.
Support learners with personal hygiene as required.
Participate in community outings (e.g., swimming, skating, hiking) to support experiential learning.
Prepare classroom materials and activities as directed by the Classroom Lead.
Document learner progress and contribute to team discussions.
Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning workplace.
Participate in regular cleaning and maintenance tasks alongside staff and learners.

Qualifications




Clear Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Screening.
Understanding of and commitment to confidentiality protocols.
Ability to respond proactively and flexibly to learner needs.
Experience using positive reinforcement strategies.
Robust organizational skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-directed and able to take initiative when required.
Valid driver's license.
Personal vehicle with $5 million liability insurance.
Clean driver's abstract.

Assets (Preferred but Not Required)
Valid First Aid certification.
Knowledge of or proficiency in Sign Language.
