Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant workplace. The Kitchen Helper will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, and support the culinary staff in delivering high-quality meals to our customers. This role is essential for ensuring smooth kitchen operations and upholding food safety standards.

Duties
Assist cooks and chefs with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Package food items for service or storage as required.
Follow food handling and safety guidelines to ensure a protected working environment.
Help with baking tasks as directed by the bakery team.
Support customer service by ensuring timely delivery of food orders to front-of-house staff.




Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and reporting any shortages.

Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Basic knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented workplace with strong customer service skills.
Willingness to learn cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving supplies.
