Seeking 4th-Year Millwright Apprentices (preferred) or Journeyman Millwrights with industrial maintenance experience. Manufacturing and automation experience are an asset.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Millwright will safely perform quality maintenance work to ensure optimal mechanical performance of the facility, including:
Troubleshooting machine breakdowns and performing root cause repairs.
Repairing and replacing mechanical components and machinery.
Performing preventative maintenance and machinery modifications, with a robust focus on preventative maintenance.
Rigging and slinging equipment.
Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Performing welding repairs as required.
Following all hot work and lockout/tagout procedures.
Maintaining production equipment to minimize downtime.
Providing vacation and leave coverage as required.
Supplying and maintaining own tools.

Qualifications
4th-Year Millwright Apprentice preferred.
Journeyman Millwright certification will also be considered.
Red Seal is considered a solid asset.
Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production workplace.
Experience with preventative maintenance programs and automated equipment is an asset.
