Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Restaurant Server to join our energetic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming dining experience for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills within a rapid-paced food service environment, emphasizing teamwork, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Duties
Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth restaurant operations
Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout shifts
Manage guest inquiries professionally, providing excellent guest services and support
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods

Qualifications




Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred, especially in hospitality or the food industry
Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
Basic math skills for billing, making change, and processing transactions accurately
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Experience with food handling, serving, and food safety protocols is desirable
Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and guests
Flexibility to work during peak hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. MUST be available weekends.
