Seeking a veterinary technician assistant to work in a fast-paced general practice and emergency veterinary clinic. This is a full time position requiring open availability.

Note: Training shifts mainly take place during the daytime with a wage of $19.17/hr

Responsibilities:
Assisting with handling/restraining of animals for exams & procedures.
Work with the team to keep the clinic clean & organized.
Walking dogs, cleaning litter boxes & feeding and watering animals.
Properly positioning & handling animals for x-rays, ultrasounds, blood draws, IV catheter placement etc.
Restocking supplies & putting supplies orders away.

Requirements:
Robust communication skills, both verbal and written




Ability to multitask and work in a rapid-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals and their owners
Ability to work in the evenings (3pm-1am, 4pm-2am & 9pm-7am).
