We are looking for an Assistant Baker/Decorator to join our small team and to work closely with the owners. We need someone who is positive, friendly, flexible, always willing to learn, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work quick and efficiently with minimal supervision
High attention to detail when completing orders and following recipes
Must be able to prioritize tasks in order of importance and urgency as type of orders vary each day
Main tasks are baking cakes, cupcakes, and cookies everyday, piping cupcakes, and masking and filling cakes in a timely and consistent manner. Knowing how to ice and finish simple buttercream cakes is a plus too but not a must
Must be able to make batter and buttercream icing in big batches




Must be comfortable interacting with customers at the store (simple retail and giving out prepared orders)
Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds
Duties will include clean-up of work area and surroundings as well
Must be available to work on Wednesdays & on either Thursday or Friday, and on-call on Saturdays

*Professional bakery experience is a plus

*Valid Food Handler's Certificate is a plus

Job Type: Part time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
