King Freight Lines Limited is seeking a Red Seal Truck and Transport Mechanic to join our team in our Pictou, NS location. We are looking for a qualified technician who will perform work on our fleet of Company Vehicles, keeping them in top operating condition.
Duties and Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical systems
Perform vehicle computer diagnostics
Repair vehicle mechanical systems
Keep work area clean and organized
Follow safety guidelines - injury prevention policies
Maintain high standards of workmanship and cleanliness
Report work accidents or emergencies to management immediately
Required Skills and Qualifications
Registered Red Seal (preferred), may consider a second or third block apprentice
Robust problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently or as part of a team including supervision of apprentices
Excellent communication skills
Must have valid driver’s license (Class 3 or 1 would be an asset)
Must be able to legally work in Canada without sponsorship
Job Type: Full time
Pay: $25.00-$31.00 per hour
