One of our clients is looking for a Manual Lathe Machine Operator to join their manufacturing team. This is a full time chance for candidates with experience operating manual lathes and working with precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities:
Set up and operate manual lathes to machine a variety of metal components
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
Measure and inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring tools
Select appropriate tooling and determine machining methods
Maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards
Perform routine machine maintenance
Keep the work area clean and organized
Follow all company safety and quality procedures




Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules

Requirements:
Previous experience operating manual lathes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Experience using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring tools
Solid mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to maintain high quality standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
