Position Summary

Jammers Apparel Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Fit Technician to join our growing team. The Fit Technician will play a key role in ensuring garment fit, construction, quality, and consistency across multiple apparel categories and retail programs. Working closely with Design, Production, Product Development, and overseas vendors, this role is responsible for reviewing fit samples, managing fit comments, maintaining specifications, and helping ensure products meet company and customer standards.This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about apparel construction, garment fit, and product excellence within a fast-paced apparel setting.

Responsibilities
Measure garments and evaluate fit, balance, and overall construction against approved specifications
Participate in fit sessions and provide detailed fit comments and corrections
Update and maintain spec sheets and technical packages
Communicate fit comments and construction corrections to overseas factories and vendors
Collaborate closely with Design, Production, and Product Development teams throughout the sample process
Review samples for workmanship, quality, grading, and consistency
Ensure all fit approvals and revisions are completed within timeline deadlines




Track sample status and maintain organized fit records and approvals
Assist with fabric, trim, and garment construction approvals as needed
Help troubleshoot fit or production issues proactively throughout development

Qualifications
Degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Apparel Production, or related field
2+ years of experience in apparel fit, technical design, or garment production preferred
Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, grading, and sewing techniques
Experience working with spec sheets and technical packages
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Illustrator preferred
