SJW Decks is seeking an experienced carpenter to join our team for the 2026 deck and fence season. As a premium deck and fence building company, we’re looking to expand with 1 skilled carpenter who shares our commitment to quality.

The ideal candidate will possess:
High attention to detail and craftsmanship
5+ years of experience in carpentry
Own hand and power tools
A reliable, working vehicle to transport tools
Physical fitness and stamina for demanding work

Responsibilities:
Work both independently and with your helper to complete projects
Read and interpret drawings and blueprints accurately
Communicate effectively and professionaly with customers
Ensure that all work is completed on time, and to the highest quality standards
Maintain a clean and organized work site





A Red Seal carpenter is preferred but not required.
