Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging educational activities. This role requires strong communication skills, creativity, and a commitment to supporting the diverse needs of all children, including those with special education requirements.

Duties
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Create a protected and inclusive classroom setting where all children feel valued and respected.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
Utilize computer operation skills to maintain records of student progress and communicate with staff.
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with special education needs or working persons with disabilities.
Encourage bilingual communication when necessary, supporting children who speak languages other than English.




Foster a love for learning through play-based activities that stimulate curiosity and creativity.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.

Requirements
Valid BC Infant Toddler Certificate.
Strong English communication skills; proficiency in additional languages such as French is a plus.
Experience in childcare or early childhood education settings is highly desirable.
Knowledge of special education practices and strategies for working with diverse learners.
Ability to operate computers efficiently for educational purposes and record keeping.
A genuine passion for educating young children and supporting their growth in a nurturing environment.
Patience, creativity, and strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children and families.
