1-Tom-Plumber is a quick-growing franchise in Cambridge. We take pride in delivering high-quality plumbing solutions for residential and commercial projects. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a skilled and motivated apprentice plumber to join our team!
We are seeking goal oriented and dedicated team members, who appreciate a family atmosphere! We are looking for an apprentice plumber who is motivated, ready to learn, and able to work independently.
Compensation will vary depending on experience.
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills in English (both written and oral)
Experience with heavy lifting and physical labor associated with plumbing tasks.
Strong willingness to learn
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Teamwork oriented with a self-starter ability
Able to perform daily responsibilities listed below:
Responsibilities (under supervision and direction of licensed Journeyman plumber):
Maintain consistent communication with dispatch
Represent 1-Tom-Plumber in a professional, courteous and customer service-oriented manner
Perform rough-in and finishing plumbing on residential and/or commercial construction sites
Assist with installing water supply,
drainage, and venting systems
Work with copper, PEX, ABS, PVC, and other common plumbing materials
Test systems for leaks and ensure compliance with all applicable codes
Follow safety protocols and company procedures
Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades for timely completion
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
Properly clean and maintain equipment and vehicle
Participate in on-call rotation and rapidly respond to customer’s plumbing emergencies
