The Opportunity As a Business Analyst, you are passionate about business analysis, technology solutions, and agile product delivery practices. You thrive in environments where business, technology, data and AI capabilities intersect to deliver measurable value to Financial Management & Reporting business partners. You will play a key role across the full product lifecycle — from discovery and requirements through engineering solutions, test validation, and continuous improvement. Beyond traditional business analysis, you bring strong understanding of modern engineering practices, AI‑enabled solutions, automation, and testing excellence.
What you will do Partner with business stakeholders to elicit requirements and clarify objectives.
Produce high‑quality analysis artifacts including functional and non‑functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, current/future state processes, data flows, and AI/automation opportunity assessments.
Identify and evaluate viable solution options; facilitate selection of optimal approaches.
Collaborate with internal product engineers and external vendor consultants to ensure solutions align with business intent and deliver measurable value.
Maintain end‑to‑end requirement traceability.
Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT): define strategy, plan cycles, review test cases, support UAT execution, and obtain sign‑off.
Work closely with QA to develop effective test plans and ensure accurate validation of requirements.
What you will need University degree or equivalent experience in Business/Finance, accounting, Computer Science, or Engineering.
CPA would be considered a strong asset.
Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis or Corporate Finance & Financial Planning areas, preferably from the Finance industry.
Good knowledge of General Ledger, Corporate Finance, Accounts Payable, Internal Control, Financial Planning, Forecasting, and Budgeting.
Experience and skills in data modelling, data analytics tools such as SQL and data querying.
Familiarity with AI capabilities such as generative AI use cases in Finance, agentic automation, and intelligent data processing.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to prioritize, coordinate, and complete tasks to meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and in a team workplace, collaborating effectively with business, delivery, and technology partners.
Experience in working with vendor and managing vendor expectations.
Good understanding of techniques and tools pertaining to the planning, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of technology solutions.
Robust understanding of agile delivery methodologies.
Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with multiple levels of clients, team, and partners.
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Experience with Infor Financials & Supply Management system or other General Ledger systems is an asset.
Experience with Anaplan, Snowflake, Workiva, Microsoft PowerBI is an asset.
What we’re offering Pay‑for‑performance with base salary and annual incentive based on individual and enterprise performance. Base salary range: $105,000 – $155,000, with placement based on experience, skills, competencies, and internal equity.
