Position Overview
ACSI is seeking an experienced Gasfitter – Class A to join our industrial team to support project requirements.

Responsibilities

Installing, repairing, and maintaining gas meters, regulators, gas lines, and gas appliances.

Testing and replacing defective equipment.

Measuring, cutting, threading, and assembling pipe using tools such as pipe cutters, pipe threading machines, and pipe vices.

Attending to gas‑escape calls and assisting in the investigation of gas fires and explosions.

Preparing work reports.

Reading and interpreting drawings and blueprints.

Journeyperson responsibilities: mentoring apprentices.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Experience

Valid Provincial Journeyperson Certification or currently indentured into a provincial apprenticeship program.

CSTS‑20 Certificate.

Fall Protection Certificate.

Mobile Elevated Work Platform Certificate.

Experience as a Gasfitter in an industrial construction setting.

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced setting.

Ability to lift and work with materials weighing up to 25kg.

Ability to work in all weather conditions and environments.

Strong understanding of industrial safety procedures and policies.

Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Location
Jansen, SK

Compensation
Rate: $51.00 per hour

Overtime: After 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week

Schedule
14x7 (days/nights), 11 hours per shift

Transportation allowance ranging from $0.2 to $0.200 km based on approved proof of residency documentation provided.

Additional Information
Candidates may be required to complete a pre‑employment drug & alcohol screening and/or criminal record check.
