Overview The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for a Project Manager to join our A220 Customer Support team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada). The position works closely with the Customer Support organization to support A220 operators as part of the Fleet Efficiency team, responsible for safe and cost‑effective operation of the AirbusA220 fleet in service and continuously improving customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Establish and monitor schedule definition processes to ensure A220 Customer Support projects are successfully delivered.
Build strong links with Customer Support business units to gain a deep understanding of departmental priorities.
Support the program support team in project management of in‑service aircraft issues, coordinating internal and external activities across Customer Support BUs.
Manage projects under your supervision using project management best practices (including LBIP), setting up required planning and managing interdependencies.
Be responsible for using project management software (Planisware) and techniques to create, maintain/update and control project schedules.
Monitor project progress, update schedules as needed and communicate with stakeholders to keep projects on track.
Control schedule changes by helping the project team manage schedule changes, including baseline change control.
Set up dashboards to track project deliverables and related indicators.
Plan the right resources at the right times, considering operational realities of deliverables.
Optimize project efficiency, resource allocation and overall project success.
Implement and maintain cost tracking for projects under your responsibility.
Contribute to financial exercises and perform required follow‑ups.
Requirements Education and experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Aeronautical Engineering, Project Management) or equivalent experience; at least 5 years’ experience in program management or project leadership in a technical or aerospace environment.
Technical expertise: Proficient with planning tools (MS Project, Planisware) and project management methodologies, including Agile; PMP certification is an asset.
Leadership and autonomy: Recognized for proactivity and rigor, with strong commitment and sense of responsibility; willing to share expertise with colleagues.
Communication and influence: Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and maintain skilled integrity and customer orientation.
Major asset: Experience at Airbus (A220 program) or deep expertise in customer support and fleet efficiency is highly valued.
