Overview

Reporting to the Landscape Construction Supervisor, the Landscape Construction Crew Members are responsible for, but not limited to: operating various pieces of manual and powered equipment, as well as operation of trucks and trailers to facilitate travel to and from our clients’ sites. Minor routine maintenance of all utilized equipment may also be required.

Being safety oriented is the first priority. A high level of customer service and a conscientious work ethic are also required. As a landscape construction company we install plant material, hardscape patios and walls, water features and landscape lighting systems. As such daily duties could involve; digging by shovel, wheel barrowing, spreading aggregate, operating hand held power equipment and operating ride on powered equipment.

The Construction Labourer may also qualify for our company extended health perks plan. This is a full time, year-round opportunity for the right individual. During the winter, we provide snow removal services, and duties will include; plowing, shoveling and salting.

Key Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will have completed your secondary school education, and possess a valid G licence, in addition to having hands-on experience in the landscape or construction industry. You will also have strong verbal and written communication skills, robust attention to detail and a mechanical aptitude. Being safety-oriented is also key.
