Duties
Perform professional haircuts, styling, and grooming services tailored to each client's preferences
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and offering personalized recommendations
Maintain a clean and sanitized work area in accordance with health and safety standards
Upsell retail products such as hair care items to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments
Communicate effectively with clients to ensure a positive experience and build lasting relationships
Stay current with industry trends and techniques to deliver innovative styling options
Assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Barber or Stylist with a strong portfolio of work
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients
Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards within a salon environment
Strong communication skills for effective client consultations and team collaboration
Ability to upsell retail products naturally during service interactions
Retail sales experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Front desk or administrative experience is a plus but not mandatory
Professional appearance and positive attitude with a passion for the beauty industry
