We are looking for an experienced Hydrovac Operator who knows their way around underground work and can safely get the job done.
Responsibilities:
Operate hydrovac equipment to safely and efficiently excavate around underground utilities and pipelines
Perform daylighting and soft excavation
Load, transport, and dump materials safely
Keep hydrovac trucks and equipment clean and in good working condition
Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on equipment
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Comply with occupational health and safety standards
Work with crew members to complete jobs efficiently and on schedule
Report any equipment issues or required repairs to manager
Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
Valid DZ or AZ driver’s license
2+ years of experience operating hydrovac trucks required
Experience in underground construction or utilities
Solid understanding of protected excavation practices around utilities
Mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance and inspections
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces
Strong work ethic and reliability
