Duties
Measure, cut, and install drywall panels according to project specifications and blueprints
Secure drywall sheets using appropriate fasteners, ensuring proper alignment and stability
Finish joints with taping, mudding, sanding, and applying textures for seamless surfaces
Perform caulking around edges and seams to prevent air or water leaks
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute installation plans
Conduct minor carpentry tasks such as framing adjustments or repairs as needed
Apply finishing touches like painting or touch-up work related to drywall installation when required
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris throughout the project
Experience
Proven construction experience with a focus on drywall installation or related trades
Skilled in construction painting, caulking, and finishing techniques
Hands-on carpentry knowledge with the ability to read blueprints confidently
Prior handyman experience is a plus for tackling diverse project needs
Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in physically demanding environments
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
