As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling settings such as Government Buildings, Sports Facilities, Retail Environments, Secure Facilities, etc.
Shift Timings: Monday to Friday 23:00 – 07:00

Pay Rate: $20.60/hr

Responsibilities for a Tactical Security Guard
Patrol critical areas to spot any suspicious activity
Check identification and control access to secure areas
React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken
Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks
Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents
Community outreach with vulnerable populations
Enforcement of the Trespass to Property Act
Qualifications for a Tactical Security Guard
Be authorized to work in Canada
Hold a valid security license
First aid certification
Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
Able to pass an Advanced Use of Force Training Course
Knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Powers of Arrest
