Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled certified Level ll Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient education.

Duties
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative, orthodontic, pediatric, and surgical treatments
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring sterilization standards are met
Take digital radiographs (X-rays), utilizing CAD (Computer-Aided Design) Itero technology when applicable
Manage patient records efficiently using dental software TRACKER an assest.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to enhance overall health outcomes
Support front desk operations by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow
Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment to ensure readiness for daily procedures

Experience
Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, new grads are welcomed to apply.




Familiarity with Tracker software is highly desirable.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with diverse patient populations.
Solid knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.

Requirements
Valid certification as a Dental Assistant Level II from an accredited Canadian program
NDAEB certified
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
Ability to communicate effectively using medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and sterilization processes

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
