Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman/woman Automotive Technician to join our reputable dealership team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and professionalism. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with automotive repair, and the ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment. A background in dealership service, welding, and schematic reading is highly desirable. Duties
Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle makes and models using advanced tools and equipment
Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake replacements, tire rotations, and fluid checks
Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively
Assemble or disassemble vehicle components during repairs or upgrades
Heavy lifting of parts and equipment as needed to facilitate repairs
Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle serviced




Ensure all work complies with safety standards and dealership policies
Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and addressing customer concerns professionally

Qualifications
Proven experience as an automotive technician, preferably with dealership background
Valid mechanic license or certification (e.g., ASE certification) is preferred
Solid mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds)
Experience with automotive repair, maintenance, and assembly processes
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic environment

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
