Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver/Shop Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, ability to load/unload with forklift and tie down/secure loads.

Duties
Safely operate commercial vehicles including F550 deck truck and trailer
Load/unload flat decks and trucks with a forklift/skid steer
Tie down/secure loads using chains, boomers and ratchet straps
Delivering/picking up tooling and equipment to different site locations
Doing pre-trip inspections and log books. Navigate through weigh scales when needed
Maintenance of diesel and petrol vehicles
Check tires, fluids and grease as needed
Assist with moving and organizing inventory
Support shop activities by helping with various tasks as needed

Requirements




Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record and experience in commercial driving
Experience using forklifts
Experience with heavy equipment preferred
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
Robust communication skills
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Reliable transportation to work location
Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace with safety as a priority
