About the Role

We are hiring Caregiver to support seniors in their homes. This role focuses on compassionate, respectful, non-medical care that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent. Assignments vary based on client needs and availability. This role delivers supportive, non-medical care in home and community settings.

Responsibilities
Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
Assist with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
Support safe ambulation and transfers as required
Prepare meals and assist with light household tasks
Provide medication and appointment reminders according to care plans
Accompany clients on walks or appointments when required
Observe and report changes in client condition
Communicate with supervisors and office staff
Accurately record hours worked and care provided

Qualifications
PSW certificate, caregiver training, or relevant experience
Experience supporting seniors or individuals with cognitive or chronic conditions is an asset




Valid First Aid and CPR certification
Explicit Vulnerable Sector Screening prior to hire
Solid communication skills and compassionate approach
Ability to work adaptable schedules based on client needs

Physical & Work Requirements
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs
Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and move safely
Comfort working in various home environments
Respect for client dignity and privacy

Transportation
Ability to travel to client locations using personal transportation or public transit
Some assignments may include accompanying clients for errands or appointments
