Famoso Pizzeria is looking for a reliable and passionate Pizza Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate takes pride in preparing high-quality pizzas and maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. You will work alongside a fast-paced team to ensure every pizza meets Famoso's quality standards.

Responsibilities
Prepare and stretch pizza dough according to Famoso recipes and standards.
Assemble pizzas with the correct ingredients and portions.
Operate the pizza oven safely and efficiently.
Ensure all food is prepared and presented consistently.
Prepare sauces, toppings, and other ingredients for daily service.
Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion control.
Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation throughout each shift.
Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices.
Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries.
Support the kitchen team with prep work, cleaning, and closing duties.
Follow all health, safety, and food handling regulations.
Communicate effectively with front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.

Qualifications




Previous experience as a pizza cook, line cook, or kitchen team member is preferred but not required.
Ability to work in a rapid-paced setting.
Strong attention to detail and food quality.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Food Safety certification is an asset.
