Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Assistant to support the daily routine for an individual child. The ideal candidate will assist in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for this child. This role involves working closely with educators, the child, and the child's family to promote early childhood development and ensure a positive learning experiences. Prior experience working with challenging behaviours and a passion for working with children are essential for success in this position.

Duties
Working directly with the child and helping them learn routines, navigate transitions, and working on social interactions.
Provide caregiving support to the child, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the day.
Help the child with personal needs such as feeding, toileting, and dressing as required.
Foster a positive and inclusive setting that encourages social skills and emotional growth.




Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and play areas as needed.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding the child's progress and needs.

Qualifications
Prior daycare experience or working with behavioural children is necessary.
Diploma or certificate (level 2 or 3) in Early Childhood Education is required.
Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check is required.
Strong ability to work effectively with children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and enthusiasm.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with educators and families.
Ability to create a secure, nurturing setting that promotes learning and development.
Certification in CPR/First Aid is mandatory.

Pay: $25.41-$29.28 per hour
