Edmonton Trailer is looking to add a Full time Heavy Duty Equipment Technician who brings positivity and is eager to learn.
Job Description
A Heavy Duty Equipment Technician is responsible for the repairs and maintenance of a wide variety of equipment, while being cognizant of schedules and deadlines. This role works along with shop foreman and fellow employees.
Roles & Responsibilities
Conducting minor to major repairs to truck and trailers.
Inspections and repairs on all Heavy Duty Oilfield,
Logging, bulk and tanker equipment.
Responsible for the repair and servicing a wide variety of equipment.
Ensure that the shop facilities are maintained to be safe, clean, and effective.
Carefully inspect work after it is completed and work with the Shop Foreman to verify that it is compliant and meets regulatory requirements.
Manage and maintain a work environment that promotes safety, respect and professionalism. Ensuring a cooperative relationship is maintained between all employees.
Solid organizational, problem solving, attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
Record detailed notes for each piece of equipment worked on.
Qualifications
Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician.
Current CVIP License is an asset.
Class 1 driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
