Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail will ensure that every guest has a memorable experience. Successful Candidates will:
Be available full time in the fall
Available to work at two locations: Bedford & Bayers Lake
Available open - close, Weekends, Holidays.
Be open to optional growth within the company

Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
Operate the Micros POS system efficiently for order processing and payment transactions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Assist in food preparation and serving,



ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change.
Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure safety and quality of products served.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Qualifications
Previous barista experience or experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
Robust customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy workplace.
Knowledge of food safety practices and basic math skills for cash handling.
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is an advantage.
Ability to work well as part of a team while also being self-motivated when needed.

Pay: $16.75-$17.00 per hour
